Gristle is a tough fibrous material (essentially cartilage), 1sf (troll), not fat _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

As it's probably derived from Molly (a familiar name for Mary, apparently), then it's obviously just pronounced like Molly, without the "y". _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

So I suppose a gangster's mole would be a member of a criminal gang who fed them inside information on the police...
....or a small blind furry animal that was the pet of a mafia boss...
....or a small darkly-pigmented area of skin on said mafioso....
And.... have we been invited to vote in a poll or a pole? I think we should be told.
Is it scone or scone?
Tomato or tomato?
Linux or Linux?
Oh no. We've done that one already. |

Odd thing about poll, is that for voting I say poll, while for chopping the head off a tree, I pronounce it poll - so there.

I'd offer to buy you a copy of 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' if I thought it would do any good. |

Probably pronounced with a NY/Brooklyn twist --- as in coorfee for coffe, or cooyb for curb. For example 'It's cooytens for you now Louies'
Ballmer could also be becoming a modern way of pronouncing Troll as well.
