Well,if he says it, he'll have to pronounce it. Of course, if he just sticks to writing it or doesn't have anything to do with it at all, then he won't have to bother and we won't have any controversy over the "correct" way to pronounce it.

I think it's meant to be pronounced it. Although some people pronounce it aye-tee.
