LXF 68 tutorial "Upgrades"

Thanks for the wealth of info in the tutorial on using "apt".I had recently been having a problem using the "Xandros Networks" package management utility.

I seem to have broken it rather good this time and was about to reinstall Xandros 3.0.1 Open Circulation Edition----again,when recalling the LXF 68 article "Upgrades" rang a bell.

I followed the advice and built a "sources.list" then did the "apt-get install synaptic" and have been using it now to keep up to date and also to install new "packages". Cool

Just a quick warning for Fedora users, i have had experience and others too with apt breaking yum in Fedora Core. Still use apt though, excellent tool...
