News story comments temporarily disabled

Postby M-Saunders » Tue Sep 12, 2006 4:04 pm

Lo all,

I've turned off commenting on news stories for now -- they're being overwhelmed with spambots. However, I'll look into captcha or a similar system so that hopefully we can re-enable them soon.

In the meantime, feel free to chat about current Linux events in the Discussion forum!

These are the LXF forums. Surely we should discuss such things on this thread?

Now I'm confused. In which forum should we discuss the forum in which we should discuss news? :-)

Around 17°C should be fine, if you can't go any hotter. But then again the wheelbarrow's broken. :(

Well, it's clearly all to do with this web site, and temporary disability seems to have afflicted several of us in resolving this issue, so I rest my case.

Ouch!

Doh! Rested my case too near the edge of the table and it fell on my foot.

what's the Oralce sql to extend a table? blather, wobble....

OK. Who's old enough to remember, here's who?

And for a bonus point, what was the name of the show?

(Remember, no googling)

Sounds like Kenneth Horne to me... I don't think it's from "Round the Horne" - maybe "Beyond Our Ken ?"
