Hmmm. gnurt is an anagram of grunt. Hmm. There's an anagram-making app I haven't used in years. Unfortunately it's a Windows one (anyone know of a Linux one?), but I thought I'd put "1slipperyfish (troll)" in and see what came out. The figure 1 gets ignored, so in the following read "1" as "one"

I liked His flyers pip 1, but I spy 1 fresh lip and Eh! 1 flip spy sir are just weird.

So I substituted 'one' for '1' and got: No! Espy fish peril. which is spot on.

More surreal was: Eh! If nipples rosy, and on the nipples theme: Of shy nipple rise. Not quite sure what that means.

Thanks. I entered "spottedcat" in wordsmith, and got out:

A PC dot test and
Dot-cat pest

There. That's just to show that I haven't singled out 1sf (troll). Very Happy

I'll add the link to my bookmarks, but does anyone know of an installable Linux anagram app?

Yes, you do get thousands, but I've just found the advanced option where you can force inclusions and exclusions, among other things. I tried that with "oneslipperyfish" and got Fishy spiel prone. So true. So true. Neutral

spottedcat= T' despot cat which would be all right if I lived in Yorkshire, I suppose.
