Mandriva LE2005 update source

Postby guest » Sat May 21, 2005 9:49 am

Following installation of Mandriva from the mag DVD, Ive set up my update source using one of the UK URLs returned by Add Update Source from the Configure Media GUI. But to date no updates have been reported. This surprises me. With Mandrake 10.x I was always installing security updates. Am I doing something wrong. The source I chose is

You'll need to modify those entries for x86_64 if you're running on 32bit.

You should try Easy Urpmi, it's very good!

[quote="firefox"]You should try Easy Urpmi, itI see what you mean. Thanks for the tip. You'd think that the mirrors offered by the built-in tool would all be OK though.
Anyway all's fine now after 430Mb of updates.
Thankyou all for the help.
