So, they sent you, Mr Saunders to interview the guy behind Syllable. You wouldn't have a reason to advertise it would you? I notice that a 'Michael Saunders' has been working on some game ports for Syllable. Surely not another gaming OpenSource nut called Mike Saunders? So - are you 'da man'? I think we should be told... _________________ I'm not a spammer - honest! |

Yeah, I've done a few software ports and various bits-and-bobs for Syllable, but I'm not a core developer or representative of the project. I just find it hard to exist without DOSBox, so I had to port it

Thanks, 'Michael'.. It's weird - I've never met you, spoken to you, or communicated with you other than through these forums, but it still seems odd for you to be referred to as 'Michael' Wonder why? _________________ I'm not a spammer - honest! |

Because "Oompa Loompa" is a much more natural name for him? |

I think the email account I initially used for the Syllable mailing lists was "Michael", and it stuck, even though I sign posts off with "Mike".
Oh, all right then, I'll come clean. He's actually my evil twin brother, who my parents chained to an Atari TT from three months old. Poor soul.

Let's get this right - your parents (or rather your mum) had twin brothers. 'Ooh' she thought, 'twins. And we'd only thought of one name. Never mind, <baldrick>I have a cunning plan</baldrick> - we'll call one Michael, and the other........Mike'. No wonder you've turned out the way you have - a strange rotating turtle-type monster on a go-kart. _________________ I'm not a spammer - honest! |

That's right -- with such a system, she could simply shout 'M, come in for your tea' instead of our individual names, thus saving precious nanoseconds. We Saundersers think ahead!
