So, you're saying nelz costs us 50p per issue? That's about 1/13th the price of the DVD issue. What's the circulation again? Are you getting your true worth nelz? _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Now I look, it says 28,314 January to December 2004. So that should mean nelz is entitled to £14,157 - hardly a princely sum

You might have something there. You might have noticed that we seem to have had pictures of all the LXF staff in the magazine recently, except for nelz. Could it be that nelz is the LXF monkey?!!! _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

er no i think it might be your spelling
i had a play with phlak today and it's a bit hardcore even for me
one thing i have noticed since playing with linux is my windows seems to take forever to start once it has loaded, it may be an unrelated bug also i seem to have about seven thousand svchost.exes when i open task manager which weren't there before but which is apparently normal

I seem to recall that there are several viruses that go under the name svchost.exe, I hope your AV is up to date.
Did you mean partition? I was going to mention, had you asked, that before installing Linux, by far the safest thing to do is get a second hard drive and install it on that. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |

Trend Micro Medium Risk Virus Alert - WORM_MYTOB.ED....
This worm has backdoor capabilities, which allow a remote user to perform malicious commands on the affected machine. The said routine provides remote users virtual control over affected systems, thus compromising system security.
Moreover, it prevents users from accessing several antivirus and security Web sites by redirecting the connection to the local machine.

By far the best policy is to ring the subs department 0870 837 4773 - the details are in the back of every issue. _________________ Bye, Rhakios |
