Suse 10 question

Postby Alien8 » Wed Nov 30, 2005 6:43 pm

Hi there,

This may sound like a silly question but does the version of Suse 10.0 OSS on this months cover disc include the 64bit version?

I am asking as I run a system based on AMD64 (single core) 3500.

Kind regards

Alan

Already answered. Of course, if you have broadband you can always download the 64-bit version, if you want to.

A good UK mirror (in my experience):
ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/ftp.s ... _64-GM.iso
the eval version has most of the packages found on the full commercial version (but not quite all) and, of course, does not come with any official support.

Will it be your first attempt to install a Linux distribution?
