Any PHP programmers here?

Postby alex_extreme » Fri Nov 11, 2005 6:05 pm

Are there any PHP programmers here? PHP is my best language, which I have decided to write a CMS in called Snowflake. What kind of things do you program in PHP?

I enjoy coding in PHP, and it's also my primary language. I don't get much chance to use it at work though (in a school) as we have crapp Active Directory with IIS which I use ASP with (Wake-on-LAN script, dynamic Intranet, user password management).

I'd be happy to help contribute to the CMS in my spare time if you plan for it to be a collaborative effort.

EDIT: Forgot, I made a very small & simple script called MyBusinessCard earlier this year :D And a calendar that I have no use for any more.

I mainly use PHP for CLI scripting and for server backends. I also write mods for various software such as mambo-phpshop, x-cart and whatever I'm hired to mod really :)

hey MoPHP any info you could give me on programming asp web pages with that nasty Active Directory and IIS would be of great help. Am looking to design management interfaces linked with a nifty network registration database.

Thanks
Mike :)

How do I start interfacing with the Domain Controller, which is a different server to the IIS machine? also I have started with asp for this project so I'd better cary on in the same fashion.
