Hi list
I have been working on a free web based app that lets you update the php.ini from your browser.
You can find a demo of the app at http://pyrite.zacbarton.com. Im looking to see if anyone thinks this might be useful or share any ideas/comments before I take it any further.
The demo site is pointing to a test php.ini file so feel free to play with it.
Regards

The interface looks impressive, a rather nice layout. I suppose it'd be helpful for admins to change settings if ssh isn't available at the time, very good work
Although.. hopefully, changing one setting that could screw-up PHP won't lock you out |

| Looks good - is it OpenSource? Would it be hard to change to a Webmin module for the interface? |

I haven't really looked into it but the security aspect worries me. I have seen similar projects that are quite exploitable.
It is certainly a project I would look into at some point next year. _________________ Andrew Hutchings, Linux Jedi
