Flash BIOS

Postby DavidMcCrossan » Wed Apr 23, 2014 5:15 pm

Hi guys!

My old PC has a BIOS prob in that it does not remember new settings but loads factory settings.

This did not worry me but I have a young lad - a neighbour's son who would love it if only I can make it work in a consistent way.

I have downloaded the new BIOS but I have no idea what to do next.

The teenager would have no probs with linux - I am sure he would welcome the challenge.

Can you help me to get a new young recruit please.

Best

Before flashing the BIOS, I suggest that you replace the battery. That's the most common reason for settings being lost.
