Mint Cinnamon on my desktop and Mint MATE on my netbook.

Your assertion that windows 8 is awesome is at odds with the reports I've had from members of my family, most of whom wish to return to windows xp.

Mint 15 Cinnamon on this box, Xubuntu on less powerful machines. As I'm rather impressed with Xubuntu 13.10 on a test box, I'll be upgrading my other Xubuntu boxes to that release.

Arch on the laptop, SolydX on the desktop machine.

Of course, I also have SolydX, Salix and Saline on the laptop, but they don't get used much.

Old Debian Lenny on my main PC. Newer Debian Squeeze on my spare/backup box but horrible horrible Gnome3 even in Gonme2 compatibility mode so I use it only when a newfangled website barfs on the old Iceweasel. Android 4.x on my Nexus. I suspect my TV, HD recorder and other gadgets of more Linux distros but have not dug deep.
Cheers,
