I just downloaded the latest issue LXF 175 from the subscription area and tried opening it in okular and evince only to find that none of the text will render. I can load old versions of the magazine (LXF 174 & LXF 173 tested) without any problems. If I load LXF 175 in Adobe Acrobat reader 9 I can read it, but it's slow and bloated.

Has the font changed?
I'm running debian 7, is it missing a font which I should install to read the new magazines?

It works here with Okular 0.17 on KDE 4.11. As nboth Okular and Evince are affected, I'd suspect poppler, the PDF rendering library used by both.

Do you get any error messages when you run either program from a terminal?
