I have an Elonex netbook which used to run Win XP. Recently it started playing up on startup, so I saved all important files and decided to wipe and start again using Pear Linux. (Its ubuntu skinned to look sort of applish and I have it on an old desktop too.
It was a success, it cured the problem message and failure to boot-up but then I got a bit ambitious, I thought I'd see if the netbook could handle Windows 8.
Amazingly it does, BUT I have lost my Pear Linux.... there is no choice when i switch on. In the past I have always instaled windows and then Linux - I have not done it this way around before.
I'm sure Pear is still there, because I only see 20GB of h.disk free... Is there anyway to retro-install some sort of boot menu thing so I can choose Win 8 or Pear Linux?
