Anyone recommend a site like photobucket (picture sharing online), only for things like wav files / mp3 / ogg / audio format of choice?

I don't want to pay, or have it provided by dodgy geezers like Apple.

Any ideas?

Try MediaFire: http://www.mediafire.com/

Essentially, it's just online storage, but with a very generous allowance for free accounts (50Gb) and some sharing facilities. However, I don't think that you can use it as a sort of online gallery for sounds, if that's your main aim.
