Timing error on server?

Postby Dutch_Master » Tue Jun 26, 2012 2:08 pm

Is there a timing error on the server guys? I notice that threads I've read do not appear as 'read' when I renew/load the page. It does when I use the 'mark all forums read' link on the forum index page, but not elsewhere... Doesn't matter if I change the time settings in my profile to GMT, GMT+1 or GMT+2, the issue remains... But it's a minor nuisance, compared to other ongoing issues :P ;)

Good catch.

I've just fixed it now, and installed NTP so things shouldn't get so out of whack again.

Cheers,

Jon

Mind that one needs to manually adjust the forum time in your profile for 'daylight-saving hours' (or whatever they call it at your place :P)

Sorry folks, but it's not fixed yet! My replies to threads remain marked as 'unread', even though I posted them myself!

[edit: even this message is marked as 'new' for me... :? ]
