Guessed why yet? NO?
<rant>
Well let me enlighten you. My Vista Laptop has not been on for months
so I decided to get it ready to go on holiday with. What a bloody nightmare...
Updates galore, reboots galore, one major crash and 11 hours later...
What an effing PITA. Why oh why oh why? /Me shakes my head in despair!
This Debian tool updates at my request about every 3 months and is done
in less than an hour or so without reboots... No wonder I don't touch
WIndwoes anymore except out of necessity at work...
</rant>
Now for my intravenous caffeine intake to _calm_ my nerves... _________________ 73...

Lol windows 7 won't let me play games (The only reason I use it), and I have installed the same updates on it about 50 times.
Saving up for an SSD then gonna do a clean reinstall
I still can't get over the fact that the 'solution' to stop installing the same updates is the 'hide' them, not to find the root cause... Oh windows. _________________ For certain you have to be lost to find the places that can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was |

If you only use Windows for work, why do you need to update it to go on holiday? _________________ Unix is user-friendly. It's just very selective about who it's friends are. |

I wiped my windows partition at home and installed Fedora 17. Felt good.
Required Window's for a bit of software that I used for an Open Uni course I was doing. I just have the exam to go, so I dont' need it anymore - hurrah!
Thought I will install Windows 7 again since I tend to play games on PC rather than console. |
