Hi,
I have recently installed phplist on my home desktop running SuSE. Previously I had it running on PCLinuxOS and it work straight out of the box. No sendmail set up etc.

After setting phplist I tried to send an email to myself. It appeared to be working but no email. I have installed sendmail use YAST and it is running.

Any ideas.

Thanks
Neil

What happens when you use the cli (console/bash) to send an email.
Also try creating a php script that sends an email and put into the public apache htdoc folder.

I have created a php page and sent an email from it. Also no response. I think it is the sendmail that is not set up correctly. On my laptop I have PCLinuxOS and openSUSE on the desktop. All the programs and pages works fine on the laptop.

Don't know how to send an email from the command line.
