LXF 154 System rescue CD

Postby NETTKNUT » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:27 pm

As a newbie I'd like to know how I can copy the System Rescue CD to its own disc.

Copy the sysrcd directory from the DVD to your hard drive (because it needs to be written to) then run

Code: Select all
mkisofs -rdlJ -boot-load-size 4 -no-emul-boot -boot-info-table -b isolinux/isolinux.bin -c isolinux/boot.cat -o sysrescd.iso sysrcd

Then copy the resulting ISO to a CD in the usual way.
