RIP to Steve Jobs who died yesterday.
I don't have any Apple products, and don't agree with his vendor lock-in stuff, but he can be credited for making boring technology interesting and even desirable / sexy.
I wonder would Bill Gates get so much good press when his time is up, compared to what Steve Jobs is getting today.
(It's on-topic as you discuss the impact of Steve on technology acceptance by the ordinary main in the street). |
