I hope this is in the right section of the forums..
In the magazine ads for subscribing, if you type the URL to receive the "free" gift for a subscription, you are ONLY presented with an option to pay quarterly.
If you go to the buying a subscription page without the "free" gift, you can buy a whole year's subscription in one go.
Why is there no option to buy a whole years subscription AND "free" gift? |

It is Future Publishing's policy to only offer gifts to those who subscribe on Direct Debit so Linux Format is part of that. This is because the subscription is then ongoing until the customer cancels so cuts down on the renewal letters and emails we would then have to send and the cost involved in that.
Occasionally we will open out the gift offer to all forms of payment such as during our Christmas offer period but as a rule for Direct Debit payers only.
