My understanding is that you use 1.2.5 if you want copper-bottomed super stability. 1.3.x is an unstable branch, but there are many new features, they have decided to "stick" at 1.3.3 and work on debugging it, whilst 1.3.4 and upwards will be more experimental with new features being tried out for inclusion in 1.4 when it arrives.

Though when I read it back to myself I'm not sure if I've explained it very well!

The only problem I have had with pasting into a text box in Scribus from another app seemed to have more to do with klipper than scribus. I needed to copy, then click on the klipper icon and select the copied text in the dialog above, then it would copy into scribus with a middle mouse click or ctrl+v.

Well I'm on Scribus 1.3.2 still and trying to use it properly for the first time to build a newsletter. I'm hoping you two scribus fans can help me. I have looked at the documentation and Wiki FAQ. I can't work out why it will not paste text I have copied from Firefox into a text frame. I have tried Edit/Paste and Ctrl-V. When I try these commands the text box just flashes once stays the same.

Nearly all of that gets deleted on the server when I download, the rest usually ends up in the wastebin. I have very severe filters
