                                      wx for me is installed in /usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/ this is on ubuntu and i would guess is true for most systems, for learning python i would start with IDEL</description>

                                      I have tried to install this package but every time I try to use it python is unable to find the module wx. I have installed wxPython on /usr/local. Should I have installed it to another place? I want to use pythoncard to learn python but this will not work without wxpython!</description>
