                                      Found it.  I wasn't expecting it to be in a global settings tab, rather than a tab for individual screensaver: jigsaw.&lt;br /&gt;

                                      The screensavers usually have preferences where you can change the image - have another look through the settings, I can't give exact instructions as it's been a long time since I've used any kind of gnome.</description>

                                      I'm using Mint 13 Cinnamon atm.  I've installed screensavers.  One of the screensavers I've activated is Jigsaw.  It's one of the standard Gnome ones.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I like the screensaver, except for one thing.  The damn image it jigsaws doesn't seem to change from what appears to be some crappy testcard.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'd love to change that.  Is there a way to edit these screensavers?  Is it easy to do?  Can you tell me how please?</description>
