                                      Yes, it does matter: Asus explicitly states in their manual that you'd need 2 equal videocards for SLI to work. However, I was unable to find the Sapphire manual, as they apparently don't have one on their site, only for buyers... So I can't tell you if you could indeed have 4 working screens attached. I currently have two screens running from a GeForce GTS 250&lt;br /&gt;
could I c) just get another GeForce GTS 250? Does it matter about manufacture? The one I have doesn't seem to be made any more. &lt;br /&gt;
