I noticed that on ff4, the right-click Open with tab and open with window options are reversed from ff3.*

I've not tried the linux version. I've had to install f4 on my wife's vista box and my sister's win7 setup in the last 3 days.

I'm not overly enamoured atm. That'll probably change.

I tried firefox on my Android phone. Too slow starting up etc.

Just got it installed on my Mac, looks good. Now I'm thinking about my phone, some of the syncing features could be useful.

No doubt.* It comes in the tin with Natty Narwhal/11.04 which I've been testing since last December. Posting from Natty Alpha/FF4 now. It took a little getting used to - Firefox 4 that is - but I like it now.

The openSUSE branding which has also been applied to Inkscape is quite different from that in the Firefox tour.

Well, I'm somewhat gobsmacked and amazed to find that I'm the first person posting about this, but Firefox 4 is now final and available for download. Distros like openSUSE11.4 should provide updates from the beta (haven't looked yet), and I'm sure there will be PPAs for *Ubuntus.

There's a tour of the new browser's features here.

Of course, Firefox is not just good for Linux, it's good for other OSes too, and I'll be updating my Mac very shortly.
