By the way, I was interested to see you are using Debian. Squeeze is currently my main distro. I am running it on one of my laptops and find its "non-awesomeness" quite refreshing.

Well, Marrea, I have one machine running the latest Debian and happened to have an ssh session to it open at the time. Otherwise, I am mostly using Ubuntu 10.04. I find the feel of them quite different, even though most of the software versions are of similar vintage.

What? One quick command issued to the machine I happened to be logged into, followed by copy and paste?
You will be pleased to learn that my bank holiday was minimally impacted by that little piece of triviality.
Now, if I'd had to search the forums for someone's posts on knitting, for example, that would have taken up a fair bit of time.
It might be magic, but not magic enough to make those examples work on my Ubuntu 10.04. The videos just sit there and do nothing.

Oh, it was me trying too fast to get the site running, and not leaving it long enough. It does work now!

For some reason, which I had forgotten, all the OMG sites are very slow on my machine. I've never quite understood why, but they even scroll up and down slowly.
