I discovered something new last night. Something that sounds like torture. Something so terrible that I'm not even going to look it up on Wikipedia just in case it has pictures. Something that, if you're a husband and as blissfully ignorant as me, you may well find yourself asking your wife about then laughing in disbelief.
And it is this: eyebrow threading. OH MY GOD YOUTUBE HAS VIDEOS AND THEY ARE FULL OF EYEBROWS!
...
I'm never going near a girl again.

Eyebrow threading?

Sound like a good idea to me. Adding eyebrows would make it a lot easier to see the expressions on each of your threads, then if one of them looks particularly stressed you'll know immediately which one is slowing your application down. If the threads all look grumpy, then you're being too hard on them and need to give them a break, or better still, release them under the GPL - everyone knows software's happier when it's free.
Thanks for sharing with us

Phew, I was expecting people to be threading needles through their eyebrows.
Trichophobia?
Rhakeios (not verified) - August 2, 2009 @ 11:55pm
Some sort of trichophobia here? It all strikes me as pretty innocuous.
Not to mention...

Sounds like torture?

My wife is pakistani, so I am fairly familiar with threading (seeing it done that is, never tried it myself). I thought it was quite an innovative way of removing unwanted hair - it doesn't appear to be particularly painfully, it certainly looks a lot more pleasant than plucking.
Why?

The girls that fascinate me are the ones who go through all the pain of plucking their eyebrows only to go and re-draw them in with a make-up pencil thing.....Why?
Well actually...

we should be quite amazed considering they thread about one hair at a time! My wife and I are Indian and I have known and seen of this for about 20 years. My cousins have bee doing it for quite some time and the women swear that its the best way.
Whatever, I simply think they have a lot of patience!
